Auxiliary Fuel Tank 06 F-250
I want to add a auxiliary fuel tank in the bed of my F-250, to feed fuel to the main fuel tank.
Can I use a gravity feed system like Northern Tool sells or do I need the more expensive system with a fuel pump hookup? Thanks Last edited by bbieder@comcast.net; 07-14-2009 at 10:51 AM. |

you dont need a " more expensive " system, you just need a system that works. my friends dad has an 80 gal fuel reserve on his f350 power stroke with a regular fuel pump and it works just fine.....but i reckon you could just go with good ol lever action pump lol j/k. make sure u have a water tap on the bottom. dont want water gettin in their

i am looking at the same thing right now. the best alternative is titan tanks. that is what i am going to go with. by the time you buy a transfer pump and a slip tank, if that is what you were going to go with, you can buy a titan tank. i think they are 900 bucks. and they go in the stock location so you dont have to lose box space. i think they hold 67 gallons or something like that. best money spent IMO.
