Hey Guys,
A local dealer is helping me out my "warranty" issue. The truck was having no problems with puking or anything, but the dealer wanted to take care of this because they knew it would eventually. I have 95k on her right now. They have done three other stud jobs successfully, so they know what they are doing. Currently ARP studs are going in, and FCDP's EGR Delete kit. I told them to look it over real good, but you know how far that goes sometimes. I would like to find an 03' turbo to go on it, but that is the least of my concerns. Is there anything else that needs/should be done while the cab is off and everything is easy access? Thanks guys! |

Regulated Return Kit, and also get those heads decked and flatten. IF you got the money port them out. Mainly the RR Kit and Heads decked.

Are they just charging you for the EGR delete and the ARP studs? I wonder if my dealership will do this for me, I will be at 100K pretty soon.

When I had mine done over the winter I also had the head coolant lines put in ( $150 from Elite ). They say it helps keep the heads cooler.

Have them put the updated HPOP fitting on, as well as the seals on the oil rail plug. I think there are two seals per plug.

Have them replace turbo oil drain line. New over the counter replacement from Ford is less restrictive. Drain line and replacement o-ring/gasket kit is $50.00 from Ford.

Where is this dealership at? Mine wouldn't touch my truck for any warranty work with that list of mods that you have

don't mention dealer names in this thread, i know it hasn't happened, but just a warning.
Lance, as we discussed on the phone, oil drain tube,STC fitting, and push for a new oil cooler. As mentioned above you may want to see if they will send the heads out to be magnafluxed for cracks, checked for flatness and deck if needed..also visually check the cylinder walls for and cracks.. You know my feelings on the RR Kit. |

Clean you eng and paint it
![]() and the stock exhaust manifolds are ugly so paint those too. or these Outlaw Diesel Performance :: Online Store Or make custom manifolds, up pipes and y-pipe. Fuel mod On the fuel lines to the eng block there are 2 banjo bolts that send fuel to the block. Drill out the holes in the bolts. Replace the fuel lines with bigger ones. Insulate the AC lines and exhaust manifolds and tubes. Amsoil eng oil bypass kit |
