fuel milage brag

I came to Lexington KY for the weekend from Bowling Green Ohio. I left a little early so I could drive slower to see how good of milage I could actually get. I just installed my new turbo back 4" straight pipe, so I wanted to see if it would help out with milage. So anyways, got on I-75 and hit cruise at 67 mph, in a 245 mile trip I averaged 23.4mpg!!! I am trilled with this, and today I drove another 200 miles on the highway at 75 mph and got 22.4 I am pretty pleased with this, dont know why but my truck seems to like the edge juice in level 5 with its new exhaust. Just thought I would share

Congrats on the mileage... sounds like you found a setup and speed that your truck really likes. I'd say stick with it.

Wow. The best I've seen is 19 so far. And that is bone stock.

Awesome!

Sean, I have the Edge Juice Platinum Attitude, and with 10,000 kms on it in Australia on my new F-350 CC 4x4 King Ranch, I just got permission from my Importer and Dealer to run Her up to Level 3 for towing, and level 5 if I want for around town... A couple of questions.....

Edge seemed to indicate they have a number of Clients running around on Level 3 to 5, reporting better fuel economy. There are the power settings and then there are extra fueling settings. Are you staying on Level 1 for fuel and little smoke while on the higher power settings? This seems to be the answer, tune for maximum HP on minimum fuel...

One more thing, are you actually calculating measured fuel and doing the math???? Because you cannot rely on the dash computer, it is a bit off..

Anyway, I guess I will try an run on Level 3 to check out the fuel economy, and take it from there... Thanks in advance for your answers... Ranger in Australia...

You know, I never thought of that, 2WD....! I only think in terms of 4x4 here in Oz... That could account for the large number...

It's because of that exhaust kit he's running on that truck.
