boost gauge install

Where is the line I put the t fitting on for my boost gauge on my 6.0? Pics would be great!

You dont want to do that on a 6.0. You wont get a good reading.

You want to drill and tap the intake elbow and install the gauge there. I just did mine and had it done in about 20 minutes. Make sure you remove the elbow before drilling and tapping it...shouldnt have to tell people that but you never know.

If you don't put it in the elbow your gauge will flutter around and not read very accurate.

hmmm...mine is metering the pressure going to the map sensor. It seems to be pretty accurate. Is that the wrong place to tap into?

I wouldn't say its the wrong place but you will see a better reading if you tap into the intake elbow.

I actually put mine in the cac tube in the drivers side under the air filter. Keeps it hidden and i dont have a plastic line laying over the engine
