What transmission do i have?

Hi guys,
Does anyone know what transmission came with the 03 F-350 XLT 4x4 SRW? it is automatic.i wanted to buy the filter and there is a 4r100, a 5r100w, deep pan or shallow pan.....My VIN is 1FTSW31P43EC97723.

what if its a early 7.3 dave? than wouldnt it be the 4r100

Its the 6.0 lt. according to the VIN number. OPn sunday i'll post some pictures.

Any idea if it is the 5r110 or the 4r100? do they use the same oil filter?

You have an external fillter for that trans. If you drop the pan all you will find is a screen type fillter. Just change the external fillter.

its the 5r110w.
I'm changing the screen filter by now. Any idea whats the motorcraft number for the external filter? it's a cartidge, isn't it?
