I get my baby back baby back NOT RIBS!!!

Well, three weeks after some chick decided to wipe out into my parked truck I should be getting her back. Several thousand dollars of work later. Short List of Repairs:

Passenger front wheel replaced
Passenger front tire replaced
Whole truck repainted
Front leaf springs replaced (both sides)
Entire front bumper assembly replaced
Shackles and receivers replaced
Fog Lights and Grill Replaced
Hood Replaced

Best part of the whole thing is the bumper already had a small dent, and after my attempt at patching the holes behind the emblems that I removed (apparently I'm great at patching holes but I suck at painting) both of the front quarter panels needed to be repainted, so all the work I was planning on having done has just been done for me. I got really lucky in that the hit (50+ mph into the front wheel while my truck was PARKED!!) didn't do any frame damage.

Yeah she was speeding through the apartment complex parking lot on a wet surface, leaned down to get her cell phone off of the floor boards, looked up, jerked the wheel, hydroplaned, hopped a curb and slammed into my truck. And yes her insurance is picking up the tab!

Understatement of the century. My rental vehicle was a Dodge 1500 with the 4.7 (absolute crap truck)

Did it total her car? What was she driving? Either way nice to get her fixed up. I had an 01 F150 that a woman hit when she ran a red light and t-boned me in the drivers front tire and door. She had no insurance though, so mine paid for it. That was a nightmare, i never did find her to get my deductible back.

She was in a 2008-9? VW Jetta. Last time I saw it the driver's side headlight was on the dashboard. But it was still connected to the body if you know what I mean!

not really sure, I was so irritated, that I could only notice and take some small, smug satisfaction in the extent of damage to her vehicle. I just sorely wish that I could see the extent of damage to HER! You know what they say, "Stupidity is it's own cure................eventually"
