black smoke when floored and coughing from air filter on ease up

ok i have a 2004 f350 6.0 with 185k, ran fine on friday when i parked it, got in it this morning and the turbo sounded a little different stepped on the pedal and went hardly anywhere and black smoke poured out the tail pipe, i can get it to go if i just go easy on the pedal but when i get on it i go now where with a lot of smoke and no power at all i had the egr unpluged for about a year and then plugged it back in because i was getting really bad mileage, also i overheated about 2 weeks ago and i actually had to replace part# 6c755 in the oil filter housing because it warped it, she ran great until this morning, any help would be greatly appriciated

Maybe your Vgt solenoid is shot or has a bad connection. Can you hear the vanes cycling at idle?
