Got my new ride..

at least it is new to me. Its an 06 250 ccsb 4x4 Lariat. Going to try to get some pics up in a couple of days. I have a couple of questions about the truck for all you guys with experience with these trucks. This is my first diesel as I have been a half-ton guy all my life. My questions are about a couple of mods that have been done to this truck. It has 98k miles and was a one owner truck. It has an Airaid CAI and the cat has been removed and replaced with a Magnaflow 4 inch exhaust tied in from where the cat was on back, not from the turbo back. It also has an Edge Evo tuner(1200) that I keep in level 2, which is the tow/economy tune. Am I seeing any benefit from the 4 inch exhaust since it is not turbo back? Also, I have seen a lot of negative posts regarding CAI intakes, so, do I need to try to find a factory box to put back on in place of the CAI? As for the Edge tuner, I know a lot of people don't like the Edge tuner, but I had one on my 150 and I am familiar with the evo, so I think it will work just fine for what I plan to use it for, not to mention their customer service is great. I will probably never set it to the max tune, which is 100hp gain. It will probably stay in stage 2 most of the time. As for mods I plan to do, I am only looking to add some aftermarket 17inch wheels and tires before long as the tires on it now are close to needing replacing. Thanks everyone.

congrats The edge is ok, but does it tune the tranny as well? Your exhaust may benifit from a down pipe, but that's up to you. Your CAI is fine.
