Diy intake on a 6.0

Is it possible? if so is there a write up if not should i do it like my 7.3 and if you run diy on your 6.0 can i see some pics...

not sure on the diy but i wanna try to make my own ram air that goes under the front bumper. i saw one on a duramax or ram in diesel power mag and it looks pretty simple. the gain was like 23 hp to the wheels and i forget the trq rating.

The stock air cleaner works well on the 6.0. They are supposed to be great up to about 450HP. JJ

i mean, for what you pay for an average filter an AFE drop in would probably be as close as it gets without buying a complete cold air type intake

I run this filter and it has held up pretty good. I have also seen people cut off the front of the airbox to allow more air to enter.
