Has anyone had this happen: I started my truck up this morning to help my neighbor get his boat up his gravel driveway and when I started back home I noticed the speedo wasn't working. So I stopped and cut the truck off and it started it back up and it started back working. Any ideas, maybe a computer malfunction.

I had mine register no more than 70mph on the interstate on the way to the dealer for a oil changed and mentioned it to them and they checked it and found nothing. I found it odd that I passed everyone and it didn't show more. Around a month later, it ended up stuck on 60 with the truck off and sitting still. I took cellphone pics with the key in the on position to show the dummy lights and took it back to them. It was still acting up in the service entrance and the writer saw it, but when the tech saw it, 'back to normal'. They put a cluster in it after asking the writer about it 'to confirm'. I then pulled out the phone pics if he had any doubts. If yours is going out, get pics or video of it so you can prove it to the dealer and not have to make them 'replicate' the problem. Mine was only acting up here and there so it's harder to prove.
