Need help deciding turbo kit and fuel system for 6.0

I am new to this site and to Ford 6.0's in general. Have plenty of mechanical and forced induction experience (turbos and SC's) but none with the 6.0's or Fords for that matter. I am helping a good friend of mine build his truck, he has a 2005 F350 regular cab 4x4 with a 6 speed in it. Current mods are just a full flowing exhaust, Edge juice with attitude and a K+N cold air intake. He wants to upgrade his fuel system and turbo setup. He is looking for WHP #'s in the 500+ and WTQ in the 700+ range if achievable. Truck needs to be fully streetable, and will be used more as a toy than a daily driver. Pulling a livestock trailer and truck pulls are a few things this truck needs to continue doing. We are looking for advice in regards to a turbo setup/fuel system and piggyback controller combination that has worked with good success. Current mods that we plan to do to prepare for the added power include: machine heads for fire-ring head gaskets, head studs, custom traction bars and looking into the best clutch option. Anyone able to give me some input of what they have used that worked would be greatly appreciated. Trying to do my homework prior to jumping into this one. Thanks in advance.

If you want to do everything listed the FIRST thing he needs to do is ditch the Edge and K&N, which are both JUNK on a 6.0. Go with an SCT with custom programming or the new Spartan tuner which will have a LOT more options than the SCT. No piggyback controller will be able to do what either of those 2 tuners can do. Fire-ring headgaskets are a waste of money for 500hp. You can search the threads here and find all the info you could possibly want on doing the mods you listed. Good luck with your build.

+1 on what Tim said, also if you want to achieve 500 just a turbo wont do it, better think about injectors, regulated return to get rid of the dead head, and an air dog 2 or fass to get the fuel you will need.

Thanks for the info, when i posted fuel system in my initial post, i was refering to injectors, fass, and a AFPR to see which combo most people use for a simiar application. Does anyone know of an upgraded turbo that has been tried/trued that can head this project in the right direction at least to be able to compare the two? We have been trying to find someone with the Elite Max power or VGT HO, with the stage 2.5 injectors to see if and how those platform turbos work out.
