Fuel Mileage Test

I am taking a long trip over the weekend and I plan on testing my extreme street and my street tune to see which one will get the best mileage. I am going to run extreme street on the way down there and will run street on the way back. It is about 650 miles one way. I will keep y'all posted.

Very interested! I need to order one of these tunes for better trans tuning. Not sure if I want to go Xtreme with stock headbolts, but I don't want to get the regular Street if the mileage is much worse. Keep up posted on what speed/rpms you average as well and if it is empty or towing.

Well I went 600 or so miles going 85 mph or so at 2250 rpm and I averaged 18mpg. That's a good improvement from the 13 I was getting stock.

What was the difference between Street and X-Street? That's great mileage for those speeds, almost makes me consider going back to stock height and tires, but that won't happen

I have an 04 6.0 super cab 4x4 bone stock everything it got 15mph average. I then gutted my kitty and put a Diablosport in, I know no lectures, (I haven't had 1 problem with it) I rearely tow, so mileage is checked not towing. on tow setting it gets 18-19 mpg, economy/performance setting, same 18-19mpg, extreme setting gets 16-17 but the tranny shifts awful and never seems to adapt, on tow setting the truck has almost the same throttle response, but doesn't smoke like the extreme setting and gets better mileage and the tranny is butter smooth like stock, I'll leave it on the tow setting from now on......

Well I just got back from Florida and I was in the Street tunes the whole time. I wasnt able to get a good reading because there were a few wrecks that slowed me down. I was able to fill up in Macon and I had a good trip after that. I will post the mileage tomorrow when I get some fuel in the truck.
