questions about stuffff

Foot throttle. The spring is too soft. How do I stiffen the spring? I know its a drive by wire system and the mechanism is enclosed.

What oil do I use in the steering, and transfer case?

How many Quarts of coolant in the system?

What kind of mods can I do to the truck to make it run cooler? not meth. something I can fab up in my dads workshop.

And what are the different types of oil weights I can run.

Not sure on that one, might have to replace the whole mechanism.

Mercon V is the spec, I used Mobil Synthetic Mercon V in mine.

About 7 gallons. If you're doing a full flush, get 4 gallons of either Motorcraft Premium Gold coolant or Zerex G05 (makes it for Motorcraft). Do a flush with distilled water, drain, add the 4 gallons, top off with distilled water.

Open up the exhaust or get a bigger intercooler, those are really the only options other than water/meth. You can start with gutting the catalytic converter.

15w-40 is standard. In cold weather some run a 10w-30 or 5w-30. A very good option for all temperatures is a 5w-40 synthetic. Just be sure it is diesel rated. Mobil 5w-40 TDT is good and not too expensive.
