Worst Case Scenario

I am having some cooling issues with my '03 X. I was wondering, if my truck requires a new set of head gaskets, assuming I upgrade to stronger studs, what kind of money should I prepare myself to shell out for parts and labor, assuming nothing else is wrong?

4 grand should get you a set of studs installed with new gaskets, the heads milled by a machine shop, an EGR delete, a new oil cooler, all parts, fluids, and labor.

My advise (if you plan on keeping the truck for a good while) is to not go cheap. Get it all done while it's apart.
