I really dont get you Americans. Yes I know $2.65 sounds like a lot per gallon, but the Canadians always have paid higher prices for fuel especially in Alberta where we make the damn fuel. Diesel is still at $1.05 a liter, which when converted is roughly $3.98 a gallon. Hell when prices were at the peak and the US was paying $4.00+ a gallon, I was paying over $5.00 a gallon.

This is just a rant, not wanting to start anything here. I will go back to my corner and be quiet again.

Quite a bit is tax, and the rest is record profit for the Canadian oil companies.
