Talking gas prices

the price for unleaded gas around where i live is like 1.99 and disiel is like 3 something wats the
prices around u guys.

here in illinois, i see gas around 2.30, and diesel is 2.99-3.35

I nearly pulled a neck muscle when I saw $2.60 for diesel in Cupertino Califormia.

did they add a bunch of new taxes on diesel or something? its 2.99 here but gas is 1.99

just did some research on google and still nobody really know's except that its taxed more, more demand,and costs more with this awesome ultra low sulfur fuel. those were the three main things i got!

Frickin Gov't Regulations to produce 15ppm sulfur vs old 500ppm.... Some refineries said
screw it and just do Gas.... Nothing like the tree huggers gettin gov't regs to jack up prices.... Trickles down to all commerce / cost of goods

here in Santa Rosa, CA, Diesel hovering around $3 a gallon. gas slightly better, not by much.

In central Ky, gas is $1.85 and diesel is $2.99. This is really starting to piss me off. There's no earthly reason diesel should be $1.15 more than gas. That's 62% more!! We'd be way better off with a V-10 at this point.
