I read somewhere that the oil companies are shipping a lot of diesel to Europe because they get a better price over there. Don't remember where I saw it. Anybody else remember seeing that?

Maybe here not sure. But I read where diesel must be filtered 4 times to meet the new EPA requirements. So the process is more costly, coupled with emmision systems causing the vehicles to use more fuel.
Man, the people that thought all of this up were pretty dang smart.

Well ULSD cost more than normal diesel and on top of that the gas station down here raises the price when the price per barrel increases, but if it drops then they can't change it till the next shipment. Its all just a bunch of BS and nothing changes cause no one does anything about it.

Yeah...typical. Fuel leaps up but inches down. Always has been this way. I wonder why?
