Fuel in mexico

I was considering going over the border and getting fuel in mexico being that its only about 2.10 a gallon and it says on the pumps ultra low sulfur. Now is there any legallity issues?

Tank has to be bolted to the bed also, and claimed for Personal use. Where is it 2.10gal? At that price its not worth making biodiesel since I am only 10 miles from the border!!!!!

The price is basically the same in every part of Mexico (does vary slightly between regions, but not much).

If you can get it, put it in and enjoy it. I've been running it for over 2 years now on my 99 without any known issues.

PS It was about 1.85 two years ago and slowly goes up (only up...never down) just about each time I fill up.

I also hear that Mexico imports in about 40 % from foreign countries (including the US!) and then pays about 1/3 out of their own pocket to keep the costs down (which they won't be doing so much any more they say)).

I'm on my second fill-up with Mexico Diesel and no problems. As a matter of fact, my MPG as per the digital comp shows I'm getting .3 better in fuel economy. I just had an aux-tank built for my truck which will be installed tomorrow. Capacity 60 gallons. Only live 10 miles from the border. Hope it all works out.

Just curious as to what you had the aux-tank made out of for your truck?
