A fuel price question

Long story short, Sunday, fuel was 3.85. Monday, fuel went up to 4.09 so I filled my truck up. Come past the same station tonight and it's back down to 3.85. How in the he!! is that not price gouging?

Its been jumping between 3.99 and 4.19 here for the last week, I waited till I found it for 3.99 and a few hours later it was back up to 4.19. Beats me whats going on but its starting to give me cold chills.

I have seen it steady at 4.18 a gallon. It has not changed in I don't know how long where I live. I think the station owner got tired of changing the freakin sign. But then again I have seen alot of those digital signs being put up in my area. That way they just push buttons to change the price.

Maybe they are worried about getting carpal tunnel syndrome from constantly pushing the buttons.
