Fuel, Imported Oil Or Not??
anybody know if this is true?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHERE TO BUY YOUR USA-GAS WHERE TO BUY YOUR USA-GAS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even be good for us! The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor. An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil. These companies import Middle Eastern oil: Shell.......................... 205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco.......144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil.....130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway..117,740,000 barrels Amoco..........................62,231,000 barrels Citgo Gas comes from South America , from a Dictator who hates Americans. Do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! (Oil is now $105 (today 3/06/08) a barrel) Print this out and put it in your car Here are some large companies that DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil: Sunoco ................ 0 barrels Conoco................ 0 barrels Sinclair................ 0 barrels BP/Phillips.......... 0 barrels Hess......... 0 barrels ARC0. ................. 0 barrels Also: Pilot, Flying J, Love's, RaceTrac, Valero All of this information is available from the Department of Energy And each is required to state where they get their oil and how much They are importing. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. It's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point.... Keep reading and I'll Explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... And Those 300 send it to a t least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) .. And So on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, We will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers !!!!!!! If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten Friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guess it ..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!! Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next eight DA ys! To have self-respect is everything. Without it, we are nothing but unwilling slaves, at everbody's mercy, especially those who we fear or hold in contempt. Without self-respect, we give ourselves away and make the ultimate sacrifice; WE SELL OURSELVES OUT!! |

Also in addition why can't all of the places that don't buy imported oil lower their gas prices to help offset the ones that import theirs. Maybe I am wrong but in my mind this would put a crunch on the ones that import their gas and then have the trickle effect onto the arab nations that are using our gas money to fund the terrorism against us.

The notion that sending a few emails will do the trick is not true. It will take much more than email to get everyone to do it. There are a lot of Americans with stock in these oil companies and do not feel like taking a beating. There are also people who believe that we should use foreign oil. Foreign oil is what makes fuel affordable. We would see much higher prices without it. The demand is filled by foreign oil. If somehow everyone got convinced that no foreign oil would be allowed we better get bicycles. We won't be driving our trucks anymore. We must realize that we do not have enough oil. When a company needs oil they buy it at the going price. Some companies do not buy foreign oil, however there is not enough for all companies to do this and the people in control will not simply close up shop and go home. Not buying it is not an option. All of these companies are corporations who are public companies that everyone can own a part of. They have a legal obligation to make a profit. While there are terrorists all Arabs are not terrorists. The only way to lower the prices is to stop using fuel. It does not matter who you buy it from. I do believe Texaco / Chevron should be run out of the US but not because of foreign oil. Last edited by DavidPhillips : 04-18-2008 at 04:34 PM. |

The United States cannot supply itself with enough oil plain and simple. We use 23 million barrels a day. The world uses about 83 million barrels per day. So in other word 5% of the population "us" uses 1/4 of the oil that is refined. We only refine maybe 7 milllion barrels a day. It's been that way since the 1970 when the gas shortages hit. So where do you think it comes from. Canada and Mexico are our major contributers and the rest comes from the Arab nations. When the **** hits the fan it's gonna be bad, real bad our economy our population and our way of life is non existant without oil. Don't take this the wrong way anyone but the ONLY reason I believe we are in Iraq is to control what oil is left. After Iraq will be Iran. Just a little bit of info OPEC denominates the oil in U.S dollars and Iraq and Iran denominate in euros. That is just my opinion and I do want our troops to come home safe. Also do a search on Dr. M. King Hubbert in 1950 he predicted the U.S. would peak in oil production between I believe 1969 and 1971. Guess what we peaked in 1970.

"We peaked in 1970" Now isn't that a big deal. The sky is falling. No, it fell already. We peaked because we quit drilling. We keep finding oil. Oil in Alaska, oil of the coast of NC, SC and FL but we can't drill for it because we are ruled by idiots. They make a new oil find somewhere in the world every day, yet there are thoss that say we are running out of oil. We are not running out of oil. We are running out of brains. CSSJR |

They find little oil fields nothing substantial. Do the math if you find an oil field that contains 500 million barrels of oil "which is a huge field" hoew long does that last? about 20 days the fact is we will run out of oil some geologists think world production peaked in 2005 others think it will happen in 2010 either way it will happen. When it does happen everything that has to do with oil will go up rapidly. Even if you don't believe in peak oil you need to look at what is happening and understand that it is resembling peak oil. Also understand that when an oil company says they have 14yrs. of proven reserves they go off of current consumption they don't take into account for growth.
