Diesel up $0.20 in less than a week in NJ!!!

Does anyone have any clue what is driving this? I know that oil keeps breaking new records but diesel seems to be rising a hell of a lot faster than gas and I doubt that many folks are still buying heating oil. I'm trying to put money away to buy a house but every week fuel is eating a bigger part of my budget. When does it end?

Not sure about the US but up in Alberta(canada), we are in very short supply of diesel. One of our plants is down for "Scheduled Maintenance". Turns out they had a fire and are on zero production. Another is on short supply of raw crude so is also limited on production. To get some fuel to the northern parts of the province(fort mac, grand prarie, etc) people are having to go to Calgary(where there is a short supply also) because they cant get anything in a large enough supply in Edmonton.

Current Prices for Edmonton is $1.16/L or roughly $4.40/gal

I keep hearing how now it is the falling dollar that is causing the price to go up. Has to do with how much debt we as a country have. If it's no one thing its another.
