Angry Fuel price! Really

This is just to vent, but $3.75 for diesel?!....I mean really. The local Chevron owner (here in Pearland) told me that its supposed to top $4.00 per gallon in about two weeks....Were seriously considering selling our camper just because its to expensive to go anywhere, which sucks, since we bought the thing to get our kiddos away from the tv/wii/computer etc....

Damn.

I filled up at my usual spot for 3.34 three weeks ago. Left to go on business out of the country and returning on Monday to fill up, at the cheapest station at 3.79

Soon as it hits 4/ga I'll be driving my ranger again.... i guess longer warranty period for the diesel...

it was 3.99 last week when i filled up last. even the bio-diesel was 3.99. down in chicago it was 4.15 from what i have heard. doesn't make any sence that the bio is the same price. glad this is my play truck and not work truck.

yeah is bull chit!!! but what do you do? the azz hats at the oil companies will keep jacking the prices up as long as people are stupid enough to pay the prices. ive basicly limited my self to driving to and from work. if I have to run errands I do it on the way. this summer im going to invest in a pedal bike.

talked to the owner of the coleman oil branch here in town while they where fueling our locomotives. he said hes expecting gas to reach $5.00 a gallon by august... that means about $6.00 a gallon for diesel... I sure hope hes wrong but im dreading hes right.

i agree. i feel bad for the people who need to make a living driving one of these each day, or worse yet, owner operators for tractor trailers.
