Just get a 100 gallon tank.

Actually I filled up once on the return trip from work to the house. That's only 758 miles. I'll have to fill up again on the way back.

The good thing is I don't have to pay for it.

2.05 diesel and 87 was 2.19. Reminds me of the good ol days before the mid 90's when diesel was cheaper than gas.

S. FL anywhere from 2.25 to 2.15 I remember when diesel was the cheapest........
WHAT HAPPENED???? What pisses me off the most is that it's actually CHEAPER for the oil companies to make than gasoline!!!!

Angry Grrr -- now ticked

Ok, So I saw this thread under the active topics list, so I clicked on it and felt a little reassured that at least I am not that much higher (at 3.30/gal) than the rest of the nation, I was seeing others were paying 3.10/gal, 2.85 at best.... then I realized I WAS ON PAGE 1 of a LARGE NUMBER. So I go look at the new posts and see you folks are paying less than me by about 1.30/gal on average. Talk about a major steamfest, I am still picking up pieces of the ceiling from above my computer!!

Here in Fairbanks AK, as of May-8-2009, I am paying about 3.25-3.35/gal pending on where I buy. I LIVE 10 MILES FROM ONE OF THE LARGEST refineries in Alaska, and I go hiking along the Alaska Pipeline on a weekly basis! How flipping screwed up is that???

On the plus side I will be paying a lot less when I take my vacation and drive down to Minnesota this month...
