why bio is more?

i seen bio in or near the down town of san diego for $3.19gal. across the street was #2 for $3.09. i think it was because of the "green" idea here in the city.

isn't that crazy? or is it just me.

Nah, it kind of makes sense when you think about it. A couple of weeks ago, the market price for used veggie oil was about $1.70/gallon. Factor in the methanol and lye used in processing, delievery, and disposal of the waste products and suddenly its not so cheap to manufacture. And that's not even considering the person/company trying to recover their investment in whatever equipment they've purchased.
