how to make it faster?

My friend has a 1997 f250 with the 5.4l 330ci motor. is there any thing we can to make it faster. besides major motor work?

could do an intake, exhaust and a chip. but the chip wont do near as much as what it dose for diesels

not sure what gears are in it havent had a chance to look. do you know any web sites tha sells parts for gassers

Procharger...
this is one that i installed in my bros 04

on the dyno with the "CRAZY" tune it made 475 HP at rear wheels. DD tune was at 400 HP

I thought that the f250/350's were still using 351's in 97 yet. I know the 150's started using the 4.6 not sure about 5.4's. Anyway if it is a 5.4 ford racing sells a supercharger kit abit pricey though. It was also featured on "Trucks" it's a intake/ supercharger kit pn# was M-6066-F105. It works on a 3 valve motor. good luck

yea he can't afford a supercharger we were just wondering if there were any cheep ways to build power with it
