4WD electronic shift
I have a 2001 F250 V10, with the auto hubs and electronic shift on the fly. When I leave the hubs in auto, it won't go into 4WD, so I have to manually lock the hubs. I don't have a problem with this because I genrally use the truck for plowing and in bad weather, so it's in 4WD almost all Winter.
I'm considering purchasing a 2005 Expedition with the 6.0 Powerstroke. My question is: Has Ford improved the automatic hubs? Are they relaible now? Thanks, Erik |
