F150 Starting System Need help ASAP

I'm posting on this forum because this is probably the most knowledgeable forum I have ever used and am hoping that someone here can help me out.

I have a 79 F150 that is mostly restored, has a 351m in it. Earlier this week I drove the truck to the gym, came back out and it wouldn't start. Diagnosed as a starter solenoid. Slapped a new one in and off I went. Drove the truck to work the next day just to make sure everything was good, no problems.

Last night (day after I drove the truck) I get home, pull into the drive way and get out and hear a buzzing coming from the 79. Upon further investigation the Fasten seat belt buzzer and light are going off. With no key in the ignition. Naturally the battery is drained, so I try to jump it and the jumper cables heat up and start smoking so I pull them back off. Put the battery on the charger and when I put it back in the truck the truck wont start. Went out this morning before work to mess with it a bit more and the battery was dead. Obviously something was drawing on the battery, but the buzzer and light had gone off after I disconnected and reconnected the battery. I tried jumping the solenoid but to no avail last night but I'm assuming the battery was probably just to low.

I'm going to replace the + battery cable going to the solenoid, and put a new solenoid in because the one I put in was the cheapy one.

I unhooked the buzzer and light this morning and put the battery back on the charger so hopefully with a new solenoid and battery cable it pop right off.

Here's the kicker, I just sold the truck on eBay and decided to drive it one last time when the solenoid went out the first time. The buyer is coming to pick it up on Sunday so I have to have it up and going by then.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
