96 GT 302 swap

well I have a 92 5.0 and a 96 GT with the 4.6 in it. I have 3 302 motors and was wanting to change the 96 over to a 302. What all is involved as far as the wiring goes. Will the 302 match up with the 4.6 motor mounts?

I dont know but my buddy has a 95 convertible for sale. It has a 302 with trick flow heads and many other things.

Sam, motor mounts are different as well as the bellhousing pattern. I'm not too sure about the wiring...I'm sure something needs to be changed though.
I would check out some of the mustang forums and see what they have to say. I know there are a lot of guys that have done the opposite swap on ModularFords.com

cars gonna get a tremek tko 500 or w/e it is along with the swamp. Figures the mounts are different. Preciate it Jered

No problem Sam...most people just get a new k-member with the correct engine mounts.
Might be simpler on the 96's since they share the 94-95 5.0 platform
