Trying to Supercharge a '30 Model A

I've got a buddy I work with that's in the final stages of finishing off his '30 Model A. It has a 351m with a C6. The engine is powered by a Edelbrock 4bbl carb & intake. After driving the car around for about a month now, he hates the Edelbrock equip. He wants more power, but doesn't want to get into buying a bigger engine or messing around with his current plant's internals. We had heard somewhere that Holley makes a supercharger for carburated Fords. When I looked up the setup, I found it's only made for the 302. Does any good performance brand make a supercharger setup for a carburated 351m? He's not looking for anything off the chain...just something that'll throw him back in the seat & still maintain driveability.

first did he change the rods and jets in it to match the motor? Does he want a roots or centrifugal blower?

I belive vortek makes one it is a centrifical with a big air box that the carb fits in.

i believe the Paxton kits is for BBF more for Shelby Mustangs for the guys that do the GT-500E

find a set of austrailian 351 clevland heads for it. night and day difference!

Just remember, it's not going to be cheap, as in it's going to cost at least $2500 for a blower. Also, a 351M can be made to run but it's going to have to come apart for the better parts.


Just call BDS, get a 8-71 and their electronic fuel injection.

I've got 671 and 6v92 blowers, they do require some mods(for the drive) but they work great and i sell them cheap, pm if interested

I have 2 sets of 1971 351c 4v quench port heads sitting in my garage for sale.
