Washing the motor

Hey when you guys wash the motor on your gassers what do you all cover with a bag? Intake, alternator, distributor and plug wires....is that it?
I already know a real good way to clean a motor, just never done it to a gasser.

Thanks for the input bud. The factory airbox on my explorer is pretty well sealed, so I wasn't gonna cover it probably, and I always cover the alternator, but wasn't sure if there was much else.....

I am bad I dont cover a thing!!!! Usually the alternator turns back on at some point with a dry chirp then I am all good. The one thing i do is I start it as soon as I am done because of the stupid coil packs, I dont want the water seeping into them so I let it run for a while and drive it around.
