This Question is for Mark! ;)
Gotta quick question,
My pops has a 94 Mazda B4000 4X2 Extended cab, A/T. Basically a ford ranger right? Well any way, the tranny is going out on the sob and just wanted to know if the tranny in this sucker is an actual Ford tranny of if it is a Mazda part. I want to replace the tranny in it and from what my dad tells me, the people he's talked to in Bloomington,IN claim its a foreign part. I say hogswaller. Thats why i came to yo u Mark. I figured if anyone would know it would be you. Any info is of course greatly appreciated. I look forward to your input. |

WELLLL.......
It should be the same tranny as the ranger, BUT computer programming and therefore some componants (possibly internal electrical componants in the trans) can be different.... The merc villager and nissan quest are "the same vehicle" but many parts are actually different for example... I would get the mazda trans if it was mine... |
