So its not a ford but its a gasser...

I have an 03 dodge Durango ( I know I know) with the 4.7l v8 in it and the fan is continually on even when starting it in the morning. I'm lost as to what it can be please help

Sounds like the fan clutch might be stuck engaged.....

Drove it today and it kicked off, until I turned it off and then started it again..... I'm lost still hasn't gone off sense

could it be a thermostat switch which tells the fan when to be on?

my ricer friends have their fans hooked up to a thermoswitch so even in the middle of the night, if his garage gets too hot or something, the fan will kick on until it cools off.
