Before, During, After

Well I finally got some motivation to fix up the bumper on the work truck. What I'm doing is repainting the bumper, taking out the 6 pin plug that isn't hooked up and filling the holes it left and putting a new 7 pin plug mount on. I'm hoping to finish by tomorrow and have an after pic up. Also to I'm hoping to finish up the cab rack that I started a month ago by mid week. It just needs paint. Here are some pics.

They look pretty sweet don't they. The steel ones just weren't working out. It even took a few months for the steel ones to get taken from one of my construction sites. They are American Eagle type 082 chrome if that helps.

So as a few of you know I'm repainting the bumper on this truck and I finally got time to start on it today. Well it's a lot more time consuming than I thought. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the week. What is taking so much time is the diamond plate. Its hard to get all of the old paint off. I'm using a wire wheel on a grinder and its taking a long time. I got all of the smooth area's cleaned and primered. If anyone knows an easier way to strip paint from diamond plate let me know. please. Bead blasting is not an option.

Well I got some pics with color and I have a pic of the cab rack that I made. All that it needs is color.
