2010 Mustang map lights

Okay so my sister has a 2010 mustang and was wanting to get led lights for the inside so she bought recon led bulbs for the map lights.. And when we installed them they stayed on when cut off so she emailed recon and they told her to put resisters in them and they would be fine and we did just what they said..and after I got one installed one light worked fine then I installed the other to make the other light work right and now they want work right! So i took the resisters out and put the stock bulbs back and there still not right...When u open the door they only come on if u click the button for the map light and when u click it to turn it off the other side comes on so idk what to do to get it fixed....in my opinion if you have to pay about $50 for two little LEDs and they don't just plug right up and work you should be able to get your money back! Mine came from eBay for less than 10$ and are brighter than the chitty recons...but just wondering if anyone else had this problem! Thanks!
