keypad on door of 05 Expedition

Wife came home tonight and said that the keypad isnt responding to any of the codes. I checked it and the background light comes on but the codes make nothing happen, any ideas as to whats wrong?? 05 Expedition

Sorry I left this hanging, a good smack on the side of the door next to the keypad fixed it. For now.

Mine hasn't worked since the day I got it. Haven't checked to see if there is a fuse or not.

It does have a fuse on the Expedition but I dont know about our trucks, mine has worked great and hers has too, since I gave it an attitude adjuctment!
