460 MPG

What kind of MPG does a 460 big block usually get? And how much worse would it be with 39in tires? We're looking at an f350 with those specs and well I'm wondering if it'll last it's way it's got 129k on it and it seems to run strong ext cab long bed with a 8in lift

Uhh you'd be lucky to get 6 mpg with 39s on it.

My dad used to have a 1992 F350 CCLB SRW 4x4 with a 460/auto in it. Best MPG's he EVER, EVER, EVER got was 13.1 on a trip to the lake once when we used it to pull a boat. I think he generally averaged between 7-10 normally. And it was stock height with 235/80R16 tires. And if I recall, it went pretty well in the mud!
