I sold my truck and bought myself a 2008 f150 with a 4.6

Overall I am very happy because I paid next to nothing for it and its a crew cab.

I will miss the diesel sound but hey I dont tow enough to need it.

Only pic I have so far. It is actually an XL with all the options you can get on it. It is a rebuild so the guy made it look like a lariet and popped on some 20s

I bought a brand new f-150 crew cab 4x4 with the 5.4 in it back in 05 and i will say that was the best riding truck i have ever ridden in !!! Wish i had never sold it !!!

I hope I will feel this way too. I like the 4.6 just because it is simpler.

THe 4.6 is a good motor. Is it a Job 1 or Job 2? That will help to determine the correct spark plug for it. And just to make life easier, go ahead and change the plugs now instead of the 100k recommendation.

My work truck is a 2010 F-150 with the 4.6. I'm very happy with it - way more pep than I expected. All city driving, and the dash says its getting 15.8mpg on 87 octane gas. Not bad.

I can't wait to drive an F-150 with the EcoBoost twin turbo V6! I've only heard good things about them.

The EcoBoost are very nice. Me and the g/f just got one afew months ago and i love it. U can't tell that its a v6 when your driveing it.

I'll Be joining the club pretty soon if I can ever get mine out of the shop I am going to look at some ecoboost's myself.

I really liked my '02 ccsb F150 Harley with its supercharged 5.4 but not as much as I like my 05 cclb SD Harley. Still I wish I could have kept both.
