Need your guys opinions

I just bought a new truck so the old has to go soon. Its a 01 ranger 4 door ext cab short bed 4x4 xlt. Just under 70k or so. Pretty clean a few scufs here and there and the bed has a lot of scratches inside.( It got used it alot, i was the only one with a truck for a little while) I guy I work with said "good luck" getting what I owe on it which is $7500. Its gota be worth atleast that right? Or am I crazy?

NADA says it's about $9000 in great condition. I would start there and go down. Say, "$9000 OBO!"
