not powerstroke related, toy question
Okay so I just bouhgt a 88 jeep wrangler carburetored motor. So when I stop, it cuts off especially if I stop real fast. So is my carb getting to much gas or too little gas? I was thinking maybe it needs an electric fuel pump, but wasnt sure if that would fix the problem or not. Youll are the greatest and I just wanted to see if youll knew anything about this, youll always have answers for everything else. Thanks.

It could be distributor problems. If the advance mechanism isnt retarding the timing like it should when slowing down it will kill the motor. Does it pop, spit, sputter or anything?
