'77 F250 rear end?
How hard is it to rebuild a rear end?
The quotes I have been getting are about as much as I could sell the truck for and I have some money into the truck!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to sell the truck and am thinking about doing it myself. I have never done it and know nothing about it. Any info.? 77 F250, Dana 44, 4.10 gears. Please help, any info would be great!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on your mechanical abilty, patience, and tools. The older Dana axles take a case spreader if I remember right and you CANNOT spread it more that about .017" I think. I have rebuilt a couple of 60's and and 80. It's jsut a time consuming process. Good luck
