i would check into the mac exhaust. they are about the cheapest and best quality imo. A bunch of guys I know run them and they sound really good. I was going to get one for my expedition but ended up selling it before I got a chance to buy it.

i have gibson headers ebay y-pipe high flow magnaflow cat and a straight through pro chamber muffler and it was LOUD, but after four years i had enough and bought a borla single exit exhaust for it and instaled it yesterday and its louder than stock about 4 on a 1 to 10 scale. best part is no more cab noise or high pitch exhaust screaming in my ears! i can drive down the road with the windows down and the volume at a normal setting instead of all the way up. i do miss the loudness but its fading fast.

MBRP baby! 3.5" catback, sounds killer! Quite a bit louder than stock in the cab but definitely not way overpowering. Just loud enough on outside while being quite enough in cab for a DD.

Here are some vids of the MBRP on a F-150 5.4 3v but itll sound the same on a super duty

Because this is a work truck with a lot of miles, I was looking for an affordable way to fix the exhuast. I ended up just cutting out the bad rusty muffler and I welded a Magnflow XL turbo muffler in. Sounds great!
