bronco time !

gettin a bronco, on the hunt for a 5.8 or 5.0 92 on up bronco. what kind of gas mileage could i expect with a 4 inch lift and 33x11.50 tires. theyre about that size i dont know the exact width. if i get good enough mileage, i might trade my truck for a gasser f350 with a 5.8 instead of the powerstroke im trying to trade for..

I'd count on about ten. Bronco's are gas hogs. Add a lift and take off about 3 mpg. Add those bigger tires and take off one or two more. My buddy has an 84 with a 351 and an overdrive 4spd (manual) and he hasn't got twelve yet. He doesn't drive it hard and it's about a hundred pounds lighter than stock due to metal lost from rust. An F350 with a 351 and an auto would be very, very lucky to get ten.

that 84 is carburated isnt it? cause thats a hog. i talked with a few buds who have broncos. one with a tuner, headers, full exhaust and throttle body spacer with 33x13.50s and a 6 inch lift gets 9 my other friends with a 5.0 4 inch lift and 33x10.50s gets 15 either way so ill lean toward a 5.0

I had a 90 with the 5.0 with bolt ons and it would get around 12 mpg. I think the best I seen was 15 on the highway at 65. It had 33's as well. Hope you dont like going fast cause lifted Bronco's are not fun at high speed lmao.

I would go Mustang if I had a blower just collecting dust. Boosted 5.0's do very well!!!!
