Chev 1500 carb ??????

Ok what kind of tranny do I need to have to put a carb on it????? There are 2 trannys one has a connection with the throttle body set-up and the other is compatible with a carb. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

3 spd or 4spd?

3 speed a turbo 350 or turbo 400 will bolt to any chevy motor.
4 speed with a carb you want a 700R4. You can use a 4L60E but you'd have to have a stand alone computer for the tranny.
