tunes for a 5.4?

A friend has an 04 or 05 F150 with the 5.4l.

He already has a K&N intake system and performance exhaust.

Where should he go to get some good tunes for his ride?

Is it worth it at this point or is there something a little more worthwhile to do to this gas motor?

I have a tune for my wifes 5.4 Expedition on my SCT. I did notice a difference when installed on our Expedition but it was not enough to justify $400 bucks to go out and buy another SCT. I ended up taking it out of the Expedition and putting it back in my truck.

Edge makes a Evolution for the 5.4 and it comes with a cool display and everything, claim about 30 HP and 50 TQ with it, I saw it for about $400 on some websites. I had good look out of my Edge Evolution on my old 7.3

lol must be geting late because i tottaly forgot about the edge... yup edge has a programmer with the attitude display and mount....if you want prices on either of these let me know and ill shoot you over a price

We have sold nearly 1000 of the edge evolutions for the F-150's and yes they are worth every penny.

what bout custom tunes?

some claim they are way better than "generic" files

custom tunes for a 5.4 wouldnt be worth it... only way i would suggest it was if he highly moded it like a supercharger, nitrous, etc. etc. for a stocker the edge or granatelli would be good for it... an intake and exhaust would give you a lil more HP as well....
