Pimp Ponyboys Ride! :)

David's gonna kill me but what can he do to get some more ponies out of his Dodge 5.9L gasser? Who makes a good tuner for gassers?

The best mod would be sell it and buy a PSD.

But if he is determined to get more power out of it, add a turbo to it, superchip for it, injectors, nos, those are all good starts.

Yeah but to have 35K miles on a paid off truck makes it kind of hard to justify him running out and buying a new ride. Lord knows I wish I didn't have a truck payment.
Superchips makes a pretty good programmer for gas vehicles?

Yes they do, they make programmers for all types of vehicles. You just have to give up the vehicle info when you order it.

I know several people running a sct program in there gas truck, or car for extra power.

That I do not know. I know it has better throttle response and faster take off and I know it has shaved the 1/4 mile time as well.

Sweet - THANKS! 21hp's not too bad for a gasser. I just watched on Horsepower TV they put N2O on a ricer and dyno'd at 198HP....... I've got TUNES that put nearly that much down.

Oh and Jon we have to help those who have yet to be fortunate enough to be bitten by the Diesel bug.
