2002 F150 :(

I have had this truck since 03 with 83k on it now. I dont know, lately shes been killing me.

I need to pass state inspection, thats all find and dandy. I have to goto a garage that does it because of the tint. Their computer is hooked up to the state and all that jazz and its all legal.

The computer in my truck has 7 I/M Monitors or something. No matter what I do, I cannot get the evap or catalyst monitors to complete their successful drive cycle. I have reset the kam, the computer with my buddies 2000 dollar scan tool device computer thingamobobber, I follow all the procedures from ford on the internet and I still cant get it to work enough to bring it back to pass since it failed once already.

Do I need a new computer, I am at my wits end.

That is my last resort something is screwy with some sensor somewhere or the computer. As I read it there are so many thresholds and variables to these stupid monitors. For as well as I have taken care of this truck its just killing me.....
