? about f150

I have a friend w/a 1990 F150 who has a major tranny link from a line. Anyone have a schematic or idea of where he should start? I haven't gone to look at the truck, cuz I'm whimpy & don't feel like getting wet....
OR
does anyone have any idea what could be the prob???

K update, he had it rebuilt 1 yr ago, it leaked at the pan, he replaced gasket, leaked more, he took back to shop LEAKED worse. He thinks its coming from ABOVE, he can't see.....truck has 200k on it.

what engine? the stright 6 or v8?

dont know....can't tell u till a.m.
where could it be leaking? I told him maybe (big maybe) someone pinched the gasket, he said at 1st he thought so too, but now its leaking from above the pan gasket
