4.6 problems
were woorking on a 2004 ford 6.4 gasser. Weve got inconsistent compression all over the place. Ranging from 90 to 185 PSI and everything in between. Any ideas?

Is it like that on both sides? How many miles is on it?
Yes, it is the same on both sides. Truck has just under 60,000 miles on it.

Well I don't see an engine with that few of miles being worn out that bad or having both blown head gaskets. I would check to see whats going on with the valves maybe not all of them are closing when your doing your check. This one has be alittle baffled. Why was you checking the compression in the first place?

No i dont imagine its too bad, but I also know nothing about the trucks history or the owner. Truck has a pretty nasty miss and is real tempermental on startup. Did all common things like oil, plugs, filters etc. but it didnt make a difference.
