v10 gasser tranny swap into a Power Stroke

Alright I do not know if this is the right place to post this but feel free to move it

My buddy rolled his ford V-10 truck this weekend. the truck has a standard transmission I will post up what year the truck is exactly but i think it is like an 03-05 truck. What standard tranny is in this truck. Will the transmission mate up to the 7.3 diesel will the pedal assembly work in my 2001 ford. Let me know what you all think about this swap.

I think the pedals will just look and see. Also if you wanted to look up a standard V-10 tranny and a 7.3 standard and see if the bolt patterns the same and input shafts the same along with the pedals.

not sure if the 01 had the zf5 or zf6 if it is the six and his truck was a six it should work you will need a new computer to make it run right but it should bolt up i think but i am not sure
