Ford Edge
My wife is on another new car kick.
She has an 04 Expedition Eddie Baurer W/ Everything roof, nav, rear DVD & ...... She got on this kick last year and wanted a Nissan Marano. I stopped that when I found out that they wanted more for that than I paid for my Expo.:nono: She's trying to sell me on the gas mileage and that's not working. The Edge claims 18 - 25 (I think) with a V-6, the Expo get 16 around town with the 5.4 V-8. If she wants a new car that's fine, but she wont give into that because she will give me the option later for the same reason for maybe a 09 Dually!!!:burnout I just wanted to know what everybody think of the new Ford Edge. Does anybody here even have one???

I love them. honestly its only been the last couple years that ford has made any cars that i have liked. My personal opinion of the edge is when your sitting it it it feels like your in a way bigger car than it is...(or crossover..whatever you want to call it). The glass roofed version felt a little strange to me to drive...but im sure you would get used to it.....and the bottom line is the front wheel drive versions are ballsy...and the all wheel drive versions are even better. The car is all motor really and i would venture to say its got equil or more HP and TQ than any of its competition. One other nice feature is a full diameter spare. Its a little narrower...still a "donut" type teperary tire...but it is full diameter so it can be used on any wheel safely, wont throw an ABS light, and will perform better than a true donut tire. Honestly i would buy one if i was in the market for that type of vehicle!!! |
